Last week former president pet Socks the cat passed away at the ripe old age of 18 years from cancer.
Socks was a very photogenic cat with a lot of character who ruled the roost in the good olde days of the Clinton administrations. He was Chelsea Clinton's constant companion and like our president at the time, one smooth dude.
Socks spent his last days with former former president White House secretary Bettie Currie who gave Socks a great home and lots of love and care in his last few days.
Socks we know you are now in that big white house in the sky. Peace out!
