Designing Dogs

The PPP is very lucky to have a mom and many close friends who are designers. Besides my mom designing jewelry (here comes the shameless product endorsement: www.nrjewelry.com) we have Uncle Saad, Patrick, Uncle John, Aunty Annie and Aunty Marielise to name a few.

However upon further investigation the PPP has found out that besides Valentino being crazy about his six pugs as documented in "Valentino, The Last Emperor" being a lover of the canine species seems to be the common denominator for the following talented designers:

Isaac Mizrahi and Harry the mutt


Tommy Hilfiger with Jimi and Dylan, French Bulldogs


Donna Karan and Steph, Chocolate Lab


Vera Wang with Cooper, Sam, and Lucy, Papillon and Yorkies


Marc Jacobs The trendsetter loves cozying up to his bulldog terriers, Daisy and Alfred.




Frida Giannini The Gucci designer has a soft spot for her German shepherd, Gunner.




Stephano Pilati This Yves Saint Laurent tastemaker adores his longtime companion, his albino boxer, Bepi




Christopher Bailey The Burberry wunderkind has the perfect accoutrement for the English countryside: his Chocolate lab puppy, George.




Here is my mom and I, Powder Puff the ultimate designing dog.
